Captain Burt - LIME
Textures
The lovable, sun-burnt Captain Burt is a character created by Sean Carrow for the student film "Lime". I had the joy of painting all of the textures for this character.
I was given free range on the textures, and using Mari for this project was a huge advantage. I was able to texture each object separately, but also work on them in context of the entire character. The hair and beard for Burt was done largely in ZBrush and Photoshop, since I was imitating a certain style and those programs lent themselves nicely to the task.
